Remote Tax Services Call Center Sales Representative
Position Overview
The Remote Tax Services Call Center Sales Representative is the first point of contact for many prospective clients.
This person will speak with new leads, identify the client's needs, explain 1800 File Fast services and packages, present approved pricing, complete enrollment, collect payment, and transition paid clients to the appropriate tax professional or service specialist.
This is a sales-focused role. It does not prepare tax returns or provide tax advice.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming leads and consultation requests
- Conduct initial consultations by phone or video
- Identify whether the client needs individual tax preparation, business tax services, bookkeeping, tax planning, tax resolution, or another service
- Explain 1800 File Fast services and available packages
- Present approved pricing and enrollment options
- Answer questions about the service process
- Close sales and collect payment
- Complete client enrollment
- Enter accurate notes and client information into the CRM
- Schedule paid clients with the correct tax professional or service specialist
- Follow up with leads who have not yet enrolled
- Manage an active lead pipeline
- Meet individual and team sales goals
- Use company scripts, technology, CRM systems, and AI-supported tools
- Maintain professionalism and protect confidential client information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales, admissions, enrollment, customer service, business development, or a call-center environment
- Strong telephone and video communication skills
- Experience presenting services and discussing pricing
- Comfortable asking for the sale and collecting payment
- Able to manage follow-up and multiple leads
- Confident, dependable, organized, coachable, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, video conferencing, and AI-supported tools
- Tax, financial-services, banking, insurance, or business-services experience is helpful but not required
